Set of 7 VisualEyes™ Simulator Glasses
Includes 7 precisely manufactured plastic lenses held in cardboard frame eye glasses. These eye glasses simulate the visual conditions of: Macular Degeneration (central vision loss), Glaucoma (peripheral vision loss), Cataracts (overall blur), Stroke (Hemianopia), Normal aging vision issues (low contrast loss), Cataract and lens aging (Color affectation), and CMV Retinitis (immuno-suppressed vision loss). The glasses allow you to see your materials and spaces through the eyes of someone experiencing these vision conditions, encouraging empathy for the vision struggles of the aging eye.

T
hese glasses are manufactured by a vision standards company that also designs eye acuity charts and other vision testing tools for the vision industry. (Don't be misguided by other "cardboard" simulator glasses on the market that aren't designed to meet these standards!) These glasses are endorsed by Lighthouse International, an international organization dedicated to fighting vision loss.

Best Practice (BP) Clinics
Elder Eye Best Practice Review Clinics are comprehensive. In the Clinic (consultation), the Elder Eye “Legibility Doctor” will give your project a thorough design review and make recommendations for taking a “healthier” approach to achieve legibility for the eye over 40.

A typical EE-BP Review Clinic consists of a written review, designed specifically for your publication, product or space design; plus more information on how to make your future products and services more accessible to the eye over 40. You can also arrange for certification that distinguishes your company or organization as being Certified Elder Eye Friendly™.
